Friendly and comfortable accommodation just 3 miles from the M6, 1.5 miles from the A66 and 3 miles from the shores of beautiful Ullswater. We are perfectly situated for a holiday in the Lake District, a weekend break, business trip or stop off en route. Explore the Scottish Borders or Eden valley by car, on foot, by bike or by boat. Tirril is conveniently located on the bus route between the market town of Penrith, Pooley Bridge and Patterdale also Windermere in the summer school holidays.

We are eco-friendly having 21 solar panels (since 2011) and an air source heat pump which provides a high proportion of our electrical and heating requirements

Meadow View has been recently upgraded and offers an open, modern ground floor space with a separate entrance. Sleep well in our sumptuous beds, and then enjoy a splendid freshly cooked breakfast of your choice in our comfortable dining room. We can cater for a variety of tastes and diets. Please advise us of any particular dietary, allergen or food intolerance requirements when booking.

There is off road parking for two cars, secure storage for cycles and free Wi Fi is available upon request. Each of our en-suite rooms is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV with DVD and Freeview and a hairdryer. The Garden Room is your private guest lounge where you may relax.

We are just a short drive from Pooley Bridge where the Ullswater Steamers dock and can ferry you to Glenridding and Howtown and some of the most beautiful walks in Lakeland.

We are active members of Ullswater Yacht Club and offer a discount to any Ullswater Yacht Club related bookings.
